Do you offer EV Charging?
We do not offer charging on property.
Do you have parking for buses, large vehicles, or groups?
Parking for buses, large vehicles, and group arrivals may be available, but space is not guaranteed. We ask bus drivers, school groups, and any oversized vehicles to call ahead before arriving so our team can confirm whether space is available and provide the best parking or drop-off instructions for that day. Overnight parking is not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made and approved in advance.
There is plenty of parking on the cinema grounds.
How do I request a donation?
When did St. Michael Cinema open?
The Cinema was formerly operated by CineMagic from 2007 to 2011 and reopened under new ownership in June 2015.
Yes. St. Michael Cinema is one of the few remaining locally owned and operated cinemas in Minnesota.
How do I contact St. Michael Cinema?
Cinema doors open one hour before the first movie and lock 20 minutes after the last movie starts. Le Bar’s currently posted hours are Monday-Thursday 4-8, Friday 2-10, Saturday 12-10, and Sunday 12-8.
Movies & Tickets
Yes. The homepage promotes the St. Michael Cinema app for ticket purchasing and offers, and the loyalty program is tied to the website and app.
Can I bring a stroller or carrier into the theater?
Strollers may be brought into the Cinema however, must be kept out of walkways and exit doors. Carriers may be placed in an unpurchased seat but are not guaranteed.
Do infants need a ticket?
Children 1 and under are free.
What is your policy for Rated R movies?
All guests must be 17 years of age or older and have a ticket for at attend an R-rated movie. Only Senior and Adult tickets are available for an R rated movie. Children under 6 are not permitted at any time, Parents or guardians may buy tickets for minor children at the concession stand and are responsible of the minors.
Can I buy tickets at the box office?
Yes. As you enter the lobby there are self serve kiosks available to purchase current day or future showtimes. To purchase tickets with cash or gift cards, proceed to the concession stand for assistance.
What is your late seating policy?
Lights dim promptly at showtime. Please make every effort to be in your reserved seat at that time. If you arrive late, please be respectful of other movie goers as you move through the auditorium to your seat. Please check with the concession stand if you need help to your seat.
Do you offer reserved seating for regular movies?
Seat selection is done at the time you purchase tickets for all regular movies. $1 or other themed events may not include reserved seating.
What happens if I miss my showtime?
Once the ticketed performance time has passed, tickets are no longer refundable.
Can I get a refund or exchange my ticket?
No refunds are provided after the performance date and time on the ticket. Up to one hour before showtime, tickets may be refunded online or swapped at the box office.
What ages count as child and senior tickets?
Current pricing uses ages 2-12 for child tickets, 13-64 for standard adult tickets, 65+ for senior tickets, and 1 and under are free.
What are your ticket prices?
For indoor movies, the current posted pricing is $7.50 before 5:00 PM for all seats. After 5:00 PM, current pricing is $7.50 for ages 65+, and ages 2-12, $9.50 for ages 13-64, and free for ages 1 and under. NOTE: No child tickets will be sold for Rated R movies. No children under the age of 6 are permitted in the auditorium of a Rated R movie. Live music pricing varies by event: Le Musique Room
Do you always open movies on the national release date?
Not always. Movie bookings depend on distributor negotiations. Not every title is available to every theater but we strive to premiere all movies.
When is the movie schedule posted?
The movie schedule is generally finalized on Monday for the upcoming Friday-through-Thursday play week.
Tickets can be purchased through the website and app, and at the cinema. Self serv kiosks are located just inside the front doors and accept credit card purchases. Cash, gift cards and other assistance is available at the concession stand.

We are a locally owned cinema with a beautiful Paris-inspired design. Walking through our doors takes you to the streets of Paris. Enjoy the beauty while sipping on a cocktail from our full 2nd floor bar, or while enjoying a meal from the kitchen. More than movies, we offer Trivia Tuedays, Redemption Arcade, Live music indoors at Le Musique Room and outdoors at Summerfield. We are a proud supporter of many teams and activities. Yes, the cinema offers extra-wide basic recliners in the front 2 row of all auditoriuims except 1 and 8. Premium balcony recliners with heat, a movable headrest, a swivel tray, and an adjustable footrest are available in auditoriums 9-14.
What kinds of seats do you offer?
All auditoriums have stadium seating and a mix of rocker seats, extra-wide basic recliners, and premium recliners on the balcony level of most auditoriums.
How do I know whether a movie is playing on the Eiffel Screen?
Look for showtimes labeled “70’ Eiffel PLF Screen • Laser Projection.”
What makes the Eiffel Screen different?
It's not just the size of the screen that makes the Eiffel Experience so magical, its the structure of the auditorium; taller than most houses, it allows stronger proximity to the laser projected image with sound that makes you feel what you are seeing. The Eiffel is not just a screen, it's an experience!
What is the Eiffel Screen?
The Eiffel Screen is the cinema’s giant 70-foot screen experience, and current show listings label it as “70’ Eiffel PLF Screen • Laser Projection.” The Eiffel page also highlights its powerful audio and taller auditorium design for a more immersive view.
Food & Drinks
Do you offer annual popcorn buckets or refill promotions?
Our Annual popcorn bucket is the best deal around. A one time purchase ($48 for 2026) affords you free refills every time you are at the cinema for a movie, music, trivia or other cinema event. You can also stop in and fill it for only $1 anytime. These buckets go on sale every year on Black Friday for the upcoming year. The legendary sale allows you to grab your bucket for a one day only sale price (typically $25).
Do you offer gluten-free, or allergy-friendly options?
Gluten free options include popcorn, nachos, nacho cheese, Glueten Friendly chicken strips, flatbread and pizza trios. Ask the concession stand or bartender for more information.
Can I bring drinks from Le Bar into a movie?
Absolutely! Ask the bartender to put in in a plastic cup to keep glass out of the auditoriums.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
We do not allow outside food, beverages, or containers of any kind.
Monday-Thursday 4pm -8pm, Friday 3pm -10pm, Saturday 11:30am -10pm, and Sunday 11:30am-8pm.
Le Bar is located on the second floor.
Do you have beer, wine, and cocktails?
Yes, Le Bar is a full bar located on the second floor. Grab a curated movie inspired cocktail, canned and tap beer, and specialty drinks before heading into your show. All drinks are available in plastic to be brought into the auditorium or Le Musique Room. No alchol may leave the cinema.
What beverages do you offer?
Pepsi products are available at self-serve fountain stations along with self serve ICEEs. Bottled drinks include water, Gatorade, and Bubbler, and apple juice. We are now offering movie themed bobba drinks and dirty sodas. Check the concession stand or the app for this week's flavors! Adult beverages are available at Le Bar.
Do you serve more than traditional movie snacks?
Yes. The current menu includes items like burger baskets, wraps, flatbreads, and wings, in addition to standard cinema concessions.

Can the arcade be part of a birthday party of private event?

Can I reload my arcade card?
Absolutely! Credits and points never expire!

How do arcade Play Cards work?
Purchase a Play Card from the kiosk and unlock your entertinment journey. Each credit is equal to $.25 ($1.00 = 4 Credits). Tap your card on the reader for the game you want to play. Its that easy. Earned points on your game, its on your card. Want to know the game history, its on your card. Want a free $5? Register your card. Include your email and watch for specials and coming soon, game challenges!
Are all arcade games paid?
The new arcade inlcudes a variety of paid games. Games range from $.50 - $2.25 and include video games (HALO and Fast & Furious), Crain Games (Duck Depot, Find A Key, rotating plush cranes), and Redemption Games. These games earn points (AKA Tickets). Points are stored on your Arcade Passport. Play Passports are available at the kiosk located inside the arcade.
Yes. The arcade received a much needed facelift in February 2026. The arcade is open 30 minutes before the start time of the first movie and is open the start time of the last movie for the day.
Drive-In
What happened to the Drive-In?
The St Michael Drive-In existed from 2020 - 2025. Erected during a time where quick, creative and constant pivots allowed us to survive, the drive-in was never built to be perminant. We are proud to have offered our community entertainment options during such a crazy time and will forever cherish the memories made. There are no current plans to have outdoor movies in the future.
Live Events & Music
Do you offer Summerfield VIP or cabana options?
Yes. Summerfield says VIP tickets and cabana rentals are available.
What happens if it rains at Summerfield?
Summerfield is rain or shine, but severe weather may cause a show to be rescheduled, with ticket holders notified by email.
Is food and drink available at Summerfield?
Yes! This year Summerfield concerts will feature food trucks and grill options from the STMA Lions! Le Bar will be rocking the outdoor festivities offering select beer, wine, liquor and new this year, Summerfield Sippers
Can I bring outside food, drinks, or coolers to Summerfield?
No coolers, outside food, or outside beverages are allowed in the field or Cinema parking lot.
Can I bring a lawn chair to Summerfield?
Yes. Lawn chairs are welcome and encouraged!
What time do Summerfield concerts end?
Summerfield shows typically end at 9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday, unless otherwise noted on the ticket.
What time do Summerfield gates open?
Summerfield gates open at 5:30 PM on show nights unless otherwise noted on the ticket.

Can Le Musique Room be rented for private events?
Yes, rentals are available. Inquire directly with Le Musique Room for stage rental.
Is there an intermission at Le Musique Room shows?
Usually, yes. Many shows include an intermission. Matiness and special shows typically do not include a scheduled intermission. Check each show for more information.
Are minors allowed at Le Musique Room?
Le Musique Room concerts are generally all ages unless otherwise noted.
Can I bring Le Bar drinks into Le Musique Room?
Yes. Drinks from Le Bar and concessions are allowed inside Le Musique Room, but outside beverages are not allowed.
Can I arrive early before a Le Musique Room show?
Yes! Arrive early and enjoy a meal and a drink at Le Bar or challenge your date to a game of Skee Ball in the arcade before the show.
When do Le Musique Room doors open?
Le Musique Room theater doors open 30 minutes before posted showtime.
Are Le Musique Room shows reserved seating or general admission?
Most Le Musique Room shows are reserved, and each event notes the seating style when tickets are purchased.
Le Musique Room is a live music venue built into Theater 15, It is a 207-seat theater transformed into what is lovingly known as The Worlds Smallest Stadium! Birthday Parties & Private Events
Can I bring a birthday cake or decorations?
Birthday cake or cupcakes may be brought with a party room reservation. Additional outside food and beverages are not allowed. Decorations may be brought with the exception of glitter and/or confetti. Balloons are not allowed in any auditoriums.
Are deposits required for parties or rentals?
Yes, a deposit is required to book a party or other rental.

Do you offer private movie screenings?

Can I rent Summerfield for a private event?
Summerfield is booked for events and concerts from Memorial Day - Labor Day. Private rentals are available outside of scheduled days. Complete the Venue Rental Contact Form and an event specialist will be in touch.

Accessibility & Guest Services
Do you have a lost and found?
Yes! Items that are found are located at the Concierge Station, just past the kiosk stations, Valuables such as phones, wallets, and purses are locked in the Manager's office. Please ask as the concession stand.
Do you allow service animals?
Yes. Trained service animals assisting guests with disabilities are welcome at St. Michael Cinema. Emotional support, comfort, therapy, and companion animals that are not trained to perform a specific task are not permitted. Service animals must remain under the handler’s control at all times and may be asked to leave if they are disruptive, aggressive, not housebroken, or create a health or safety concern.

Do you have accessible seating for live music?
Yes. Le Musique Room offers wheelchair-accessible seating, including dedicated options and assistance through the box office.
Do you offer assistive listening or accessibility devices?
Yes, Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) are available for most titles all showings. Guests should ask at the concession stand for assistance. Closed Captions
Gift Cards & Loyalty
Do I need the app to use loyalty rewards?
The app is not required, however makes the experience always at your fingertips.
Can I still use my old physical loyalty card?
There are many legacy loyalty cards out there. From just before COVID we have been trying but unsuccessful to attach these accounts to our new programs. If you have an old loyalty card, stop in to Guest Services. Have your new membership ready to go (on the web or the app) and bring your card.
Do loyalty points expire?
The new program does away with complicated points and purchases. The new program acknowledges faithful, loyal guests the opportunity to create their own experience.
How does the loyalty program work?
Guests create an account through the website or app. Each quarter we will offer BLITZ BUNDLES, specially created bundles good for a variety of movie goers. Each quarter will be different. BLITZ BUNDLES are only available to Loyalty Members.
Can I check my gift card balance online?
Are gift cards physical or digital?
We offer both physical and digital gift cards. Purchase yours Here.
Can I use the same gift card everywhere in the building?
Cinema Gift Cards may be used to purchase movie tickets, Arcade Play Passports, and food/beverage items from the concession stand and Le Bar. Cinema Gift Cards and Le Musique Room Gift Cards are not interchangeable.

How Do I Request A Refund?
No refunds will be provided after the performance time and date specified on the tickets.
If you are unable to attend your show time, we can swap the tickets for a different show time at the box office, or refund the tickets online. To request a refund, please fill out your information here.Ticket refunds and swaps can only be done up to 1 hour before the original showtime.
How do I sign up for loyalty rewards?
Where are my past points and rewards?
All of your past points and rewards are still attached to the physical loyalty card. Stay tuned for the procedures to transfer your card points and rewards. You will need your physical card to access and transfer your card balances. We will keep our website and social media channels updated when this process is available. Look for it in March!
Do loyalty points or rewards expire?
Loyalty points never expire however, rewards do have an expiration date. Rewards that were acquired on our old physical card system will be exchanged for vouchers and will expire at the end of 2024. As our loyalty program expands and new rewards are accumulated, issue date and expiration date of each reward will be visible on your loyalty profile.
How does the loyalty program work?
The new loyalty program will make it easier than ever to earn rewards. Sign up for an account on our website or app. Once you are set up, every time you purchase a ticket through our website or app, you will earn points. Points and rewards will be accumulated and redeemed on the app.
Can I continue to use my original loyalty card?
Points will no longer be added to physical cards.
Can I earn points for items purchased at the concession stand, Le Bar or for tickets purchased at the Cinema?
We are currently issuing loyalty points and rewards only for online purchases. Stay tuned for continued updates to our loyalty program.
Do I have to download the app to redeem my previous points or rewards?
All points and redemptions will be done through our app based loyalty program. Stay tuned for more information about converting card balances to the new program.

When do you know or publish your movie schedule?
Our movie schedule is generally finalized and tickets available on Monday. This schedule generally has a start date of Friday of that same week. Although movie release schedules are known usually well in advance, this does not guarantee we will premiere it on that same date. All movies shown at the St. Michael Cinema are negotiated with the distributor. There are a variety of variables the studios, and the Cinema consider when booking a film title. Not all titles are available to all exhibitors. We make every effort to secure the titles desired by our customer community.

What is your policy for R rated movies?
All guests, regardless of age, are required to purchase a ticket for a Rated R movie. Children under the age of 6 years old are not permitted into an R rated movie at any time. Parental or Guardian supervision does not provide for an exception.
You must be 17 years or older to purchase a ticket or tickets to a Rated R movie. Parents or Guardians may come to the box office to purchase tickets for their minor children. They do not need to attend the movie with them but are responsible for the minor while at the cinema. Tickets purchased at the self serve kiosk will need to have one individual per party show an identification at the ticket station prior to admittance to the theatre.
What happened to the free arcade?
The arcade is open. There are some free arcade games and some pay games with prizes.
What kind of beverages are available?
We offer Pepsi products in our Concession stand and Bar. Self serve fountain drinks and ICEEs are located at the main concession stand and in the North hallway by Auditorium 9. Selections include Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, Mug Root Beer, SoBe Lifewater, Tropicana Fruit Punch, Tropicana Pink Lemonade, Tropicana Yellow Lemonade, Raspberry Ice Tea, Unsweetened Ice Tea, Sierra Mist, Diet Sierra Mist, Orange Fanta, and Diet Dr Pepper. Flavor shots are available on the self serve SPIRE machines located in the middle of the concession stand. ICEE flavors include Red Cherry and Blue Raspberry. Bonus flavors may be added periodically. Bottled drinks include water, Gatorade, and Red Bull.
Le Bar offers a full selection of cocktails, canned and tap beer and specialty drinks.
